Nudish Lipsticks: Rimmel London #276 Kasbah

Happy Monday! I have to start off the week with my latest addiction, a peachy orange and super sweet confection that I fell in love with from the moment we met in the cosmetics department in the drug store. I literally can’t keep my hands off it…she’s gorgeous, meet my latest lip color;  #276 Kasbah by Rimmel London.

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a neutral tone for sometime now and I’ve really come to love this shade because its so different than any other color I’ve owned before. Although it did take me a minute to adjust to how bold I interpreted the color to look, and to not feel self conscious about it, this shade has become my go to color for everyday wear.

The color has a satin finish and just a hint of shimmer, I hate glittery lip sticks but this I can work with because the color reads as flat unless you were to come in for a landing on my top lip you would’t notice.  I top off my lip balm with lip color to ensure I don’t suffer form a lack of moisture and end up with thirsty cakey looking lips, something you especially want to make sure doesn’t happen when wearing a nudish color. In the case of Kasbah however its creamy enough that if moisture isn’t an issue for you to get away with going without a base for a few hours.

I would definitely pick up another tube of this shade, hell I think  I will be as long as I wear lip color; it works great for darker skin tones, especially milk chocolate shades like myself. It creates just enough contrast to read as a peachy pink or a pale brownish orange under different lighting.
