My mother and I have been going from perfume boutique to perfume boutique looking for a new scent for summer. Amongst the large wall of heavenly jasmine, peony and musk scents we were overwhelmed with all the great choices there are available for the spring season. Kim Kardashian hosted the Midori Melon Liqueur Trunk Show at Trousdale yesterday in West Hollywood, California.

Inspired by the granny smith colored drink Kim accessorizes her LBD by adding a sparkling green clutch, rose bud earrings and cocktail ring. BFF Lala Vasquez was also there in an indigo colored blazer, optical printed tanks and shiny black leggings. Both ladies look great, kim always proving she love her body with her figure hugging selections.

The Chanel Cruise collection is all about lux living, beach side glamour, and soaking up the sun in your finest shades. The show which took place on the French Riviera was a magnificent sight to be seen. The show started an hour late but I can imagine not being bothered at all as I would stroll up the boardwalk surrounded by beautiful architecture, mansions stories high and lush greenery with trusty my camera in hand.

The pieces that made their way down the runway had Chanel’s easy but luxurious stamp marked all over them, black and white were the core of many of the looks, floral prints ruled and hem lines were long. Who wouldn’t feel like royalty here?

Gossip Girl Blake Lively and actress Rachel Bilson both hit up the Chanel ’Collection Croisiere Show 2011-12′ Show on this week. Blake in a sequined Chanel blazer and shorts and Rachel in a couture Chanel tank and leather shorts. Both ladies were funkified and sexy and I’m having a hard time deciding which one I love more.

When it comes down to it though I love simplicity so Rachel wins for me….which Chanel couture ensemble do you love more??
