The Black Allure Vogue Italia Feb 2011

Posted: 05 Feb 2011 10:31 PM PST

Rounding up a preimere line up of ethnic models for the shoot “The Black Allure” Shot by Emma Summerton, and styled by Edward Enninful (beautifully btw) for the Vogue February 2011 issue was resulted in an amazing spread for black history month.

Models Ajak Deng (who is my new it girl), Arlenis Sosa Peña, Chanel Iman, Georgie Baddiel, Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, Kinee Diouf, Lais Ribeiro, Melodie Monrose, Mia Aminata Niaria, Rose Cordero and Sessilee Lopez look stunning in brightly colored dresses, expensive furs bold prints and flapper girl styled fringes.

The spread has over 10 images in color and black/white of the ladies lounging in high style in a dark smokey bar.  You can see most of the images after the jump

Kim K. Celebrates the Lauche of “Belle Noel”

Posted: 05 Feb 2011 10:04 PM PST

Kim Kardashian make her way to the headlines for the hundredth time this week, or so it seems.  This time its not because of a nude photo shoot gone wrong…..but another endeavour of hers gone right; the official launch of her line “Belle Noel”.

She was helped by family and friends this week to promote the launch of the line which is in part by Glamhouse, at Revolve Clothing.

Love the outfit she wore, it’s business with a little night time twist of lime on the side.  She’s got on the “Maggie” grated toe Christian Louboutins I love so much, paired with a minimalistic black blazer and slacks.  She’s actually wearing a few of her pieces around her neck, which is enlarged above on the right.

I checked out a few of the pieces from the collection on Trend Boutique; and they’re actually very nice; edgy, funky, Rihanaesque.  I would wear em’ if given the opportunity.  The line included rings, necklaces, bracelets and hairpieces.  What do you think, see yourself wearing or purchasing any of her pieces?

More from the collection when you hit it!
