Girls Night Out: Berber Resto Lounge and Bar Posted: 23 Jan 2011 06:38 AM PST My BFF turned 24 this week and to celebrate we hit the streets! Intoxicated of course what’s fun without a little mind bending distortion right? So it was determined after scouring the net that we would hit up BerBer, a Moroccan themed bar/resto/lounge that had us feeling like we had transported to a mystical and foreign land. The set up was out of this world; highly detailed and inlaid tiles and iron doors, decorated down to a T. We booked a booth with a long U shaped couch covered in pillows and jammed while we ate and drank to a live DJ, who was spinning some techo-ish tunes. Kinda odd combination of Moroccan and Techo, but it didn’t turn me off at all. The food, was amazing, after 10pm they serve late night snacks I guess you could call it, at affordable prices; between $6-$15) so it’s a great place to go if your not looking. If your going there in the day expect to pay near $50 plus tip) I had dinner before I went so I ordered the Bruschetta, (That’s my plate there in the middle) it was tantalizingly good! We also ordered around of drinks of course; Broken down golf carts all around! Who the hell thinks of these names??? All in all it was a FUN FILLED night, I Highly recommend Berber for a night out. It’s a place you can go casually or decked out, its totally up to you. HBD to my girl Aaliyah again we are definitely going to frequent this bar from now on!
Me and the BDG ♥♥
