Oscar 2012 on the red carpet was a battle for the top spot as true queen after queen lit the night on fire. Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford was my absolute favourite look of the evening. Dressed in white with an armful of crystal, she’s oozes modern sophistication. Other red carpet highlights come from Angelina Jolie who seems to have sparked waves over the net with her come hither revealing stance…she’s Angelina Jolie, I expected as much; whats the Oscars without Angelina striking a sexy pose with sexy Brad by her side? White washed hues colored the night, a trend that I’m definitely following. Next event I hit up will definitely be an all white affair. Other stunners include Rooney Mara, Jennifer Lopez, Viola Davis and Emma Stone plus more after the jump. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in atelier Versace Rooney Mara in Givenchy

Posted: 27 Feb 2012 08:20 AM PST Hey ladies! How was your weekend? Mine was amazing! I spent it with all the people I love most having a good time eating good food and dancing like a fool all night in downtown Toronto. I ended up wearing my marigold sweater from forever (posted here). However I had no access to an SLR, my cell phone died and I left my digital camera at the hotel…bad blogger! But I did manage to piece together the night through a mixture of sources. Dinner was at Terroni, a southern Italian restaurant on Adelaide street. Don’t ask me how but my GPS on my BB failed me…again…got lost and had to be rescued from the cold by my girl VeraWang. The place looked amazing and it was super busy, great mood, full of laughter. Dinner was great, Terroni is famous for their pizza so that’s what I ordered the peppino pizza and split it with my bestie Aaliyah; it was nice because the dough was really thin, but not nearly enough toppings, it was almost naked! After dinner we went back to the hotel, we stayed at the Marriot which was also great and played drunken card games before getting ready to go to Faces night club on Richmond street. The club was nice, but we got there late so missed guest list but I wasn’t going to let it ruin my night. Girlicious member Christina was there as well, so that and the almost naked girls swinging from the ceiling was an interesting part of the night.
The morning there was no sign of a hangover, probably because I avoided hard liqueur; we went to breakfast and at really nice place Kara suggested called Panera Bread on Yonge street. The place was great, had an inviting atmosphere friendly staff and a wicked menu. I ended up getting the salmon mandarin salad, and a strawberry smoothie. The yogurt which is also used in the smoothies are organic and gelatin free, so this place scores high on my list for being vegetarian friendly. The menu over all is loaded with plenty of low fat heart healthy options, a great way to bounce back from a night of indulgence. Thanks again to all my ladies, there were more ladies in attendance but we kinda got separated hence the lack of pics, but I love you all. ____________________________________
