I will continue to say how much I love Solange’s style; she just doesn’t give a shit what anyone thinks. Afro, clean shaven or a turban, Solange exhibits no fear of the big chop. I cut my hair once, and only once and I’ll never forget it. I wanted to leap from the chair and run down the street ringing the alarm, but after a little internal pep talk I decided against it… and lived. Everyone loved it by the way but since then I’ve twisted my hair into locks, no big chop on the horizon for me, but I won’t say it hasn’t crossed my mind. I would however wear a turban, or at least try it out once; an outright rejection of the daily hair whoas, and all that come with it. Plus I find it lets a woman’s true beauty shine right through
