Ever wish you had a place to retreat to when things maybe aren’t going your way? A breath taking view; a haven concealed by the mountainous rocks, and icy snow like Aerin Lauder’s Aspen ski lodge would do just fine with me. The senior vice president and creative director to one of the most successful cosmetic lines, clearly knows a thing or too about style. The decor here designed by her friend Daniel Romualdez who also designed her Manhattan apartment created a gorgeous warm winter wonderland. This space is filled with windows letting light in from all angels, despite being surrounded by ice all the different textures, the use of fur and warm brown woods keep the space toasty warm. If there was a Starbucks near by I’d be sitting curled up by the fireplace all day with a Skinny Vanilla latte and a good book!
