Love To The North: Time in Fantasy Steampunk Jewelry

Posted: 26 Jun 2011 09:01 PM PDT

Steampunk jewelry?  Not  a very familier term with many, steampunk has its history rooted in the Victorian era, and focuses greatly on time and the “what if” notion of the world adopting steam power.  The pieces which are mostly hand made are usually created with various time pieces; Watches, pocket watches, and clocks of silver, gold or copper.  Uncommon, dark pieces makes Time in Fantasy such an incredible find.

Based out of Canada; Time in Fantasy got it’s start late last year in Oct 2, 2010.   122 sales later the little engine that could continues to gain momentum and expand from Montreal, Quebec, Toronto, Mississauga, to Markham Ontario.

What makes Time in Fantasy different from the rest of the steampunk artists out there?  Time in Fantasy focuses on just that; fantasy.  Each piece is unique and original to the brand.

“Incorporating fantasy elements, tales, the ancient world, the past, cherished moments, dreams, and visions for the future”

I love the fantasy theme, in a lot of ways it reminds of the pieces characters from various anime animated series would wear, I especially and crushing on this Alice in Wonderland inspired piece and this…just gorgeous!

Think you’ll be picking up any of these pieces?  Don’t forget to enter for your chance to win a great time piece from Orient Watches! Giveaway close July 4th, don’t miss out!!!  Enter here.

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend, time waits for no one and neither does fashion!  Diane Kruger was striking in crimson red YSL at the amfAR gala this week, she looked stunning with a simple up do.   Jessica White stood tall in a navy mini dress for the BET Grey Goose Presents The Jill Scott Experience.  Loving the grey peep toe and Alexander McQueen clutch.  Lara Stone kept it simple in a slinky nude gown at the The 13th Annual White Tie & Tiara Ball.  Simplicity never fails.

Adding a little sparkle and shine Nicole Szcherzinger  wore a black and gold mini to celebrate her birthday in Las Vegas and Nicole Ari Parker stepped out in abstract pattern with husband Boris Kodjoe for an evening at the Guild Event to Celebrate the Opening of “Radcliffe Bailey at the international film festival.  Smouldering starlet Eva Mendes stepped out in Thierry Mugler for the reveal of her new campaign Angel By Thierry Mugler.

Best dressed revealed when you hit it

Best dressed this week goes to Rosie Huntington Whiteley who was the bell of the ball at the Transformers 3 premiere in Germany.  Her platinum backless gown was a sight to see, completely covered in front, with a sexy surprise around the corner, that’s how you make an entrance!
