Cruising Etsy late at night has become routine for me, I love searching for the little gold mines of creativity that Esty is so well known for.
Last night I came across EarlyBright, a shop created by Dawn Woodard of North Carolina in the U.S. Early Bright hasn’t been up on Etsy for too long, only since last week actually, June 29th 2011. So you can be sure you’ll probably be the first to add any of these whimsical pieces to your collection.
Most items only cost about $5-25, and she offers everything from feather necklaces, to chalk board rings and monogrammed spools of thread, yes thread! Never thought I would consider thread for anything but sewing, but Dawn has a way of making the ordinary seem interesting.
Computers can’t take the place of everything it seems, with handcrafted beauties like these, which are the result of random life experiences like finding the wing of a butterfly and immortalizing it in a glass bottle. My favs include the three vials above containing dandelions and feathers and this fox necklace here.
Check out her personal website earlybright.com, she’s southern girl with creativity flowing through her veins; I’m an instant fan. Gotta have one of these necklaces for myself! Twitter: @DawnEarlyBright
