True Queen Fashion Update

I’ve been a terrible blogger lately; the summer haze has gotten the best of me and pulled me off the computer onto the streets for nights of food and fun with the girls. I’ve been trying to reconnect with a few girlies in between hectic work schedules and family events.

My girl Kara one of my close friends from work and a mutual friend Simone and I finally got a chance to team up for some well overdue Indian food at a spot she introduced me to; Little India. I’ve walked past this hidden gem time and time again on Queen Street just a throws away from the old Much Music headquarters in Toronto. Who knew what I was missing!

Little being the perfect adjective to describe this restaurant, it is however 3 floors of Indian cuisine at your fingertips. Intimate would probably be another great descriptor for its dimly lit and red painted decor. Table linens followed suit, creating a causal informal setting.

My love for Indian food has gone from an occasional fling on the side to an all out love affair. With tons for me to choose from being a vegetarian here was like breathing; simple. No rocket science required just point and shoot. Having so many options was exciting, I ending up choosing the Vegetable Thali. Served on a platter with 4 different vegetables (which by the way I’m not sure what exactly each one was, however ignorance is bliss) plus a spicy veggie side, a pilaf of rice and yogurt on the side. I pecked like a bird about half way through everything and gave up taking the rest home for hungry hippo Jarratt. (Who happily waxed it off in what was probably no more than 2 minutes flat)
