Keri Hilson leaves little to the imagination in this very risqué shoot for allure magazine’s May 2011 “Body issue”.  Shot by Patrick Demarchalier, the pose has struck up controversy not only for its obvious content… or lack there of… but because of the resemblance of a Janet Jackson shoot done nearly 7 years ago.

I think Keri’s body is amazing, and who cares how similar it is or isn’t to Janet’s past shoot.  Everyone is inspired by something or someone else…so long as she recognizes that truth.

American Idol host Jennifer Lopez is in Mexico shooting her upcoming video “I’m into you” in Chichen Itza, Mexico, *I’m so jealous! *  In an exotic snake printed Lanvin resort collection gown, Jennifer marches to the beat of her own drum in high style.  Love the second look, still searching for the designer though, if any one knows holler at me, the geometric jumper is out of this world!

Black and white photography is by far my favourite form of artistic expression.  It leaves so much to be interpreted by the audience; Zoe Kravitz was the center of attention for this B&W shoot for Black Book Magazines April 2011 issue.  Gorgeous.

Tried Tested & True: Satsuma Body Polish

I pass by The Body Shop every single day on my way to work; stopping by for a pump of lotion daily when my hands are dry after a trip to the ladies room.. Hey they put it out there for us to sample that’s what I’m doing!

Any ways this week I went in and spoke to someone new; my regular lady was busy assisting another customer.  So I decided to mingle.

That’s when she introduced me to this; Satsuma Body Polish.  Now I know anything Satsuma in The Body Shop smells orgasmic, so I agreed to be a guinea pig and sample this bad boy out.

OMG it smells good and does exactly what it’s supposed to; polished me right up.

It’s so important to exfoliate, but even myself  jumping in and out of the shower trying to get here and there on time, neglect this beauty essential.  Filled with walnut shells and loofah particles the formulation does the job without being overly abrasive.  At $16-18 a bottle after my experience it’s worth the splurge.
