Red Carpet Style: Kerry Washington, Selita Ebanks, Arlenis Sosa + More @ For Childrens Spring Dinner and Dance Posted: 13 Apr 2011 06:16 PM PDT The ladies who attended the 8th Annual New Yorkers for Children Spring Dinner Dance set the red carpet a flame, in several long dresses which seemed to be a trend for the evening.  First up are the models; Selita Ebanks in a bright red dress and heels, accessorized with an a metallic clutch and silver jewels.  Arlenis Sosa chose a soft beige one-shoulder Chloe tulle dress from the Spring 2011 collection she accessorized with matching peep toes and a similar colored clutch. Karolina Kurkova was striking in a loose fitting marigold gown by Sophie Theallet.  The color is stunning against her skin, she carries a Judith Leiber clutch and tousled locks, which I would have preferred slicked back since her dress already has that “messy” sort of feel. Kerry Washington showed us color blocking in a navy blue Prabal Gurung's Spring 2011 collection.  Her hair straightened and lengthened just past her shoulders is in perfect sync with the modern styling of her dress.  Her soft bangs frame her face, making her over all look a cut above the rest.  Love it.     Rachel Roy in a chic color blocking ensemble, this so  has to be the biggest trend of 2011 celebrities are putting this style into over drive. Black and white never goes out of style; Jessica White, designer Zac Posen and model Crystal Renn opt for the classic color combination.  Crystal is smoking in that gown by the way… she and Zac funny enough actually look like they could be related.  Also at the event was Stacy London from the hit show What Not to Wear, Model Veronica Webb and designer Christian Siriano     Credit: Wire Image
