Wedding Bells are ringing louder than ever in my life; I’m actually going to my sister in laws bridal shower this weekend, so I’ll try and share some posts maybe even an outfit post with you all soon.  I myself am thinking seriously about setting a date, and I have another shower to attend next month.  With 3 serious events just over the horizon romance and love aren’t the only things I can think about; what to wear to these events?!

Vogue UK presents blushing brides with 3 covers featuring 3 stunning ladies; models (in order) Natalia Vodianova in Vivienne Westwood, Freja Beha Erichsen in Oscar de la Renta and Lara Stone wearing Bruce Oldfield, we can seek a bit of inspiration for upcoming events, or daydream about the future for 5 minute today.  *sighs* Weddings…so beautiful!  I personally am dreaming of a magical Vera Wang gown, but I’ll keep doing just that…dreaming…

Celebrity Style: Anna Paquin, Hayden Panettiere, Tocarra Jones, Anne Hathway, Vanessa Williams, Audrina Patridge,

Here’s it is the first batch of hot celebrities out on the scene for the week. At the premiere of “Scream 4″ Anna Paquin was smoking in a hot little number from Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2011 collection.  Looking like a dress, cut off at the waist and stitched back together with bobby pins, this DIY look paired with silver pumps is a 10. Love it.

Hayden Panettiere was brighter than the red carpet in her crimson red Zac Posen dress and red carpet staple Judith Leiber clutch.

She paired her look with a pair of satin black pumps, a bronzed tan and loose up do, magnifique!


Toccara Jones kept it casual chic in a black and white checked top and black pencil skirt at the 2011 Reality Rocks Expo.  Being so full on top I wouldn’t usually agree with all the pattern on top but the pattern is so small it almost dissapears.  Not by any means a Style Queen on the week, but her hair and make up are on point.

Also at the event was Audrina Patridge who is not afraid to color block, and often does in a funky arrangement of colors in a grey, and yellow green dress, paired with red strappy sandals.  Her style is still very much what it’s always been on the Hills, waiting to see her do something amazing in her post Hills days.


Vanessa Williams attended the 36th Annual March Of Dimes Beauty Ball in a long black frock, and black sandals.  Vanessa who is known to be bright and bold appeared to be more subdued, in a look, which was age appropriate and classic.

Anne Hathaway went geek chic at the premiere of “Rio” in Los Angeles California in a purple fringed dress by Gucci, matching purple shoes and a new accessory; a pair of oversized glasses.  I’m not use to seeing Anne with the glasses look going on but I don’t hate it.  Do I think it works with this dress, hmmm maybe if she slicked back her hair and kept the look sharp I’d be more open to the idea.

Lookbook: J.Crew Fall 2011

Doesn’t really look like fall does it? I think the folks over at Plush Nylong Magazine will agree that there is a lot more about this J.Crew fall 2011 collection that resembles spring rather than fall.  Bright yellows, oranges, pinks, purples, teals and blues set the tone of this brightly lit body of work.

 

Built on exaggerated silhouettes, long full skirts, cuffed trousers and loud outspoken accessories, J.Crew definitely has put a new face to fall fashion.

Crimson lipped Coco Rocha graces the cover of Elle Canada‘s May 2011 issue.  Adorned in sequins and feathers  and shot by Nelson Simoneau, Coco looks radiant in a Jean Paul Gaultier.  She was also featured on the Cover of Elle Quebec check that out here.  Which cover are we loving more?
