Jennifer Hudson, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, Kimora Lee and a host of other black beauties attended the 4th Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon in Beverly Hills yesterday which honored “Simply the Best” Black actresses. Pastels and spring like colors lined the beige carpet, the fierce is coming out for the coming season, flip it to see what the other ladies wore.

Loving the color combinations here; Jennifer’s soft purple with taupe pumps and nails, Garcelle’s bright blue pumps and Kimora’s peach approach with teal nails.

Favorite look goes to Kimora whose killing it in a peach loose fitting dress with silver sling backs. The combination of colors is fresh and a real hot look for 2011. Every girl needs a pair of silver shoes….and I have none…better get on that asap! Other ladies who attended included Angela Bassett, Viola Davis, and Loretta Divine.

D&G Fall 2010 went retro inspired bu number and letters, the duo produced a line that was vibrant young and eye-catching.

The model came down a letter printed white runway in wedged converse inspired sneakers, fringed tutus, over sized 70′s styled sweater dresses, and laser letter cut out necklaces to match.

Colors were pop art inspired, ranging from just about every color in the rainbow combined against black or white backgrounds for major contrast and high impact.

Other pieces included printed leggings, blazers, and dark shades which most of the models wore through out the show.
