Oscar Red Carpet: Anne Hathaway, Halle Berry, Jennifer Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow + More

At home watching the 83rd annual Academy Awards as we ~~speak~~ type, is one of the most exciting nights in Hollywood not only for the awards that will be given out to all the well deserving actresses and actors, but for the fashion of course!

Hosted by Anne Hathaway and partner in crime James Franco, I’m going to do my best to stay awake for the whole thing. For starters Anne look red hot in her Valentino Fall 2002 couture. Her approach to the evening was old Hollywood glam; her pale skin make this dress and her bold lips pop right off the screen…classic beauty.

A number of celebs walked the red carpet wearing their Sunday best; Halle Berry was the bell of the ball in her angelic Marchesa gown. A red carpet favourite amongst stars this was one of the top looks for the start of the evening.

Jennifer hudson chose a delectable tangerine gown by Atelier Versace from the Spring 2008, that works wonders against her perfectly flawless skin, which just doesn’t seem to stop glowing!

For the Fall Winter 2011.12 Jil Sander's designer Raf Simons reaches into the sentiment of elegant 50's and 60's and gives the familiar lines a new fashion forward note, while the very much welcomed warm colour palette is still presented, designer also brings in a unique floral print into the game, nevertheless winters black does hold its primate. A ski-wear inspired elemnt's produce an incredibly fashionable hoodie successfully still emphasizing the elegant silhoutte, going along with the various volume and texture treatments.
